Dreams Whilst Eyes|A Sonnet

Of all the dreams that a mind can hold

Only a few have them held like a crown

For eyes kill them whilst they look down

But worry not, thou shall shine in events which unfold

Braze through heat and waves of cold

For your innocence is like white in a black gown

A child like heart with none renown

Such is the future whose conscious refuses to be old

We look up to a tomorrow that is anew

forged with a pen that writes inner you

Time shall pass so shall this mass

But the battle is with self to surpass

Let’s see what awaits next door

We can be ready, but never so sure
